The girls ended up in 4th place at the district
tournament yesterday. It ended up being a very long day. The matches were
scheduled for an hour and a half each, but almost every match went well past
that mark. By the third match of the day, they were already an hour behind
schedule, and it got worse as the day progressed. The match that was supposed
to start at 6 was not finished until well after 9. The fans got their money’s
worth!
I got my Wingspan mistake ripped out, and got it back on the
needles prior to leaving for the tournament yesterday. That was in the first
section. I have eight rows completed of the third section at this point. I am
wondering if I can get it completed in time to wear it at state this coming
weekend.
